The call went out for help - a family with a mama and her puppies needed help. Mama was becoming aggressive with her babies. She already injured one so badly, it passed away. The four that were left needed to be removed from mama for their safety. They needed round the clock care. Bottlefeeding, manual toileting, cleaning - everything mama would do.
Our puppy foster expert stepped up and offered to help. With two toddlers of her own, Stephanie said she would do it.
Unfortunately the family tried to do it themselves and waited a bit too long to ask for help, as baby girl Blossom did not make it through the first night. But her siblings, Bud, Sprout (boys) and Bloom (girl) are alive and getting the care, love and nutrition they need to survive.
It takes so much time and money to get these babies through this very critical window of life.
